Arlington Heights, IL (July 9, 2013) —SGC Horizon and Scranton Gillette Communications announce the promotion of John Rogier to Associate Publisher of Building Design+Construction from Integrated Media Consultant for Roads & Bridges and Water & Wastes Digest magazines, effective August 1, 2013.
Rogier has an extensive history in the building/construction industry. Prior to SGC/SGC Horizon employment, he led Buildings Magazine as publisher, Plant Engineering
as Associate Publisher and had previous sales experience with Building Design+ Construction magazine.
As Associate Publisher, Rogier will be responsible for the day-to-day management, sales and marketing strategies for Building Design+Construction and AIA Chicago’s Chicago Architect. He also will oversee the ongoing development and expansion of the SGC/SGC Horizon-owned event, BUILDINGChicago, which debuts September 9-11, in Chicago, and the online educational offerings of BDCUniversity.
