Arlington Heights, IL (January 7, 2015) —Scranton Gillette Communications today announced the promotions of Roads & Bridges Publisher Ryan Hanson to VP/Group Publisher of the SGC Transportation Group, Brandon Williamson from Integrated Media Consultant to Associate Publisher of Roads & Bridges magazine, and of Editorial Director Bill Wilson to Associate Publisher of Transportation Management & Engineering (TM&E), effective immediately.
Ryan Hanson joined SGC in 2003 as the East Regional Sales Manager and moved up through the ranks to National Sales Manager, Associate Publisher, and Publisher before being named VP/Group Publisher. Prior to his SGC career, Hanson specialized in custom research and surveys for a market research company. He is a member of nine transportation construction and maintenance associations, including AEM, ARTBA, ATSSA, NAPA and ITS America.
Brandon Williamson has more than 18 years of experience in media sales and business development. He launched his Integrated Media Consultant career at SGC in August 2014, representing Roads & Bridges and sister publication Construction Equipment. Previously, he served as Associate Publisher for the Associated Construction Publications.
Bill Wilson began his SGC career as an Associate Editor in 1999 before being named Editor-in-Chief and then Editorial Director of Roads & Bridges in 2006. A member of the Construction Writers’ Association, Wilson served as its President in 2011 and 2012. He has tallied nine prestigious Robert F. Boger Awards. In addition to assuming the role of Associate Publisher for TM&E, he will continue to direct the editorial content and strategy of Roads & Bridges and its supplements.
