Arlington Heights, IL (June 6, 2017) — The National Association of Home Builders’ (NAHB) Leading Suppliers Council has extended Professional Builder’s and Professional Remodeler’s media partnership for The New American Home (TNAH) and The New American Remodel (TNAR) through 2022.

The NAHB announcement continues the Professional Builder media partnership that began with the 2016-2018 New American Home, and Professional Remodeler’s 2017-2018 partnership which was forged when The New American Remodel returned, after a 10-year absence, to the 2017 International Builders’ Show (IBS).

“We are thrilled to continue partnering with Professional Builder for several more years as we showcase The New American Home and the New American Remodel,” says Jerry Howard, NAHB’s chief executive officer. “Each year, the homes become even more extraordinary, featuring only the latest in home building products and techniques. Working with Professional Builder, Custom Builder and Professional Remodeler is a great opportunity to further highlight those innovations to countless building professionals across the industry.”

TNAH is one of the association’s most successful, most visible programs. The 2018 New American Home will be its 35th edition. Both 2018 homes will be built to the ICC/ASHRAE 700-2015 National Green Building Standard™ and incorporate innovative, industry-leading materials and technology into luxurious contemporary living.

Construction is underway for the 2018 homes, which will be open to IBS attendees during the show’s January 9-11 run in Orlando. In 2019-2020, IBS and the homes will be located in Las Vegas, returning to Orlando for 2021-2022. NAHB will provide buses to shuttle IBS attendees from the show to both homes’ sites.

As part of the partnership with NAHB’s Leading Suppliers Council, Professional Builder and Professional Remodeler present cover stories on TNAH and TNAR, and sell integrated partnering packages to building product manufacturers aligned with the projects. The packages include print and online coverage and promotion, plus both guided and digital tours that highlight partner participation.

“We are extremely excited to have our partnership with NAHB extended for an additional four years,” says Tony Mancini, SGC Horizon Building Group Director-Principal. “Both homes demonstrate the latest in design, building products, technology, building science and energy efficiency. Professional Builder and Professional Remodeler embrace the marriage of delivering exceptional editorial content and leading product information to the highly qualified audience of both of our organizations.”
